Crisis Management Consulting has been a consulting service since 1997. As a professional consultant with several international firms, Jan Decker was hired by the Weyerhaeuser Company to guide the Corporate Headquarters with the development and multi-year implementation of the Company Crisis Plan. CMC provided services for Weyerhaeuser for 8 years. Since that first client, CMC has provided planning, training, Information Management System services, reporting, consultation and professional guidance to government agencies, public agencies and districts, private companies, not-for-profit organizations and as a contractor to large firms.
Jan Decker continues to provide consultation, sales of products, specialized services and is the Principal Consultant of CMC. Recently, Jan has developed affordable training products, streamlined her service offerings and strategized to enable smaller organizations to take advantage of over 30 years of professional work. In 2005, CMC and Jan Decker partnered with Chris McKenna of McKenna Video to produce simulated video News Broadcast segments as part of event scenarios for Table Top Exercises and trainings, safety training videos, public education videos and corporate communications. In 2006, Jan Decker and CMC partnered with the NohBell Corporation, a Bellevue based engineering and technology think tank firm to provide full services for sales, installation and configuration of WebEOC EOC Information Management System.
In 2009, Jan Decker and NohBell CIO Michael Keneipp partnered with Flathead County, MT OES to develop e-EOCman© – the virtual EOC and Emergency Services program and incident management system for every Emergency Manager. e- EOCman© is now available on an affordable monthly subscription and is built on the Microsoft® SharePoint™ Platform.
