We are offering two workshops – to anyone with any agency, organization or business, who needs these plans and skills:
Day 1 – CRISIS COMMUNICATIONS PLAN WORKSHOP – everything for preparing the Protocols on communicating within the organization and issuing statements outside of the organization – this workshop includes the materials to prepare the plan during the day – you can fill in the sections, print out, put it in the binder and walk out with it – PREPARED. THis is for anyone who may have to prepare or use this plan, admin, communications, operational management, management, team lead or site supervisor – all materials in MS OFFICE

Day 2 – May 2, June 6, or July 18 – CRISIS SPOKESPERSON WORKSHOP – a how to be the Spokesperson – prepare and deliver statements, quickly prepare a core message, and actual practice with mock impromptu interviews – BEST TRAINING YOU CAN GET – open to anyone who wants/needs these skills and practice. $499 – 8-4:30 at the Best Western in Federal Way, WA – including all materials, lunch and actual practice. THE BASIC EOC TRAINING
1. The EOC – its mission, primary work products, management structure, and processes – based on the ICS organizational structure, this 4 hour training program provides a basic overview of the EOC. It is for all primary and alternate members of the EOC, leadership, department liaisons, field commanders and others who need to know how the EOC operates. Jan Decker presents the information to the audience, combines scenario prompted group activity with position/functional checklists and the overview of the primary reports, meetings and outcomes of the EOC. This is a great training for new members of the EOC, strengthening the cohesive work of the EOC Sections and preparing an EOC for an exercise.
2. Table Top/modified functional practice (Exercise) of the EOC – this follows the above training either on the same day or next day with a scenario based, facilitated training and practice of the EOC work. This training does NOT have to be held in the EOC – it is about process and is targeted at the Sections. It does not involve a simulation cell or other interaction. This training is conducted in (4) modules, each with a mini break, followed by a review on what each EOC staff member has learned about their role and the EOC Operation.
3. Optional – EOC Manager/Director coaching – Jan Decker will meet with the EOC Manager/Director prior to the Table Top Exercise to discuss the role of the EOC Manager/Director, the process for leading the EOC and best practices/tips for activating and managing the EOC – 1 hour session.
4. Optional – EOC Section Focus Workshops – 1 hour each (total 5) Section based workshops with each section to conduct a more in depth discussion of the position/functional checklists, the section’s responsibilities for the EOC work products, reports and outcomes and the identification of work flow – who the position/section receives information from and who the position/section provides information to.
Cost: For 1-2– total price $2,500 plus travel, per diem, and cost for any handout materials provided by CMC (CMC provides training presentations – handouts are the responsibility of the client or CMC can provide under contract.)
For Option 3 – an additional $500
For Option 4 – an additional $1000
Option 5 VIDEO Option – CMC with McKenna Video will produce a training video featuring Client Leadership and showing the trainings and work of the EOC for a client training video. Video capture is in synch with the training and Table Top Exercise and will include interviews and commentary, include graphics with training topics and any specific information on the activation and operation of the EOC that the client wishes to include. Video Option: $1,500 + travel and per diem for Chris McKenna. Videography in High Definition format. Deliverable – 1 draft video for review/comment – final video on a master DVD. Duplicated DVDs – $5/each.

Payment for services are invoiced and due at the time of services. Expenses are invoiced at direct cost (no mark-up) and are invoiced within 10 days of services.
